2025 Young ADult Conference: Hope in the LordIn this Jubilee year, Pope Francis called us to be Pilgrims of Hope. With that sentiment, the Diocese of Brownsville invites all Young Adults (ages 18 through 39) to join us for this one-day conference! Hope to see you there on Saturday, May 24th.
For this event, we will not have childcare, so children 17 and under will not be able to attend, but we know that this is an important part of our Young Adult demographic, so we'll look for other opportunities to include whole families.

Chris DonattoMeet the Keynote Speaker
Chris is married to his best friend Erika, and they have two wild daughters. Chris was born in Louisiana but has been a Texan since 1999. He is spent over 20 years serving the young people of the Church. For the past nine years, he has been a domestic missionary with Adore Ministries. Currently he is the director of recruitment seeking new missionaries to serve the youth of Adore Ministries mission parishes. He has a bachelors in theology from the University of St. Thomas in Houston and is currently in graduate school at Texas Southern University for counseling. He enjoys reading, writing, powerlifting, skateboarding, and movies.

Andrea RamosMeet the Emcee
Andrea is from Harlingen, TX and her home parish is St. Anthony in Harlingen. In college, she loved being part of the Catholic student community through the University Ministry. It fostered in her an intimate relationship with Christ and greater appreciation for her Catholic faith. In 2024, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley; currently, she is an MD candidate at the UTRGV School of Medicine. Andrea enjoys being part of the leadership team of After Hours Catholic, a young adult group out of the McAllen and Edinburg area, where young adults grow spiritually and intellectually, practice charity in our community, and find fellowship.
