The 40 day season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving known as Lent, starts on Ash Wednesday and is a time to prepare to celebrate Easter.
As the priest imposes the ashes on your forehead, the words "Remember, you are dust and to dust you shall return" remind us that we are not of this world and one day, the Father will call us to eternity with Him.
We are pilgrims in this post-pandemic Lenten season. Let us strive for holiness and as we walk this season with the Saints and lift up our hearts to God. Renew us Lord!
Daily Lent challenge is posted on Facebook & Instagram along with the day's hashtags. Each challenge helps us to walk with the Saints as we journey this Lenten season. The links below contain the daily challenges with the options of English or Spanish. If you didn't give up social media for Lent, please share on social media pictures from the challenges.
