Cielo Abierto & Family Faith Festival - Nov. 4
Exciting news for this fall!
As we continue our journey with the National Eucharistic Revival, our diocese will host a Family Faith Festival and a night of Eucharistic Adoration with Cielo Abierto on Nov. 4, 2023, at the Payne Arena in Hidalgo, Texas. Cielo Abierto will feature an evening of music and Eucharistic Adoration.
Cielo Abierto joins us for five Nights of Adoration (NDA) from October 30 to November 3 in five parishes throughout the diocese. Each day, Mass will be celebrated at 6 p.m. followed by Eucharistic Adoration.This is a free event for the whole family!

¡Magnífica noticia para este otoño!
Mientras continuamos nuestra jornada con el Avivamiento Eucarístico Nacional, nuestra Diócesis será sede de un Festival Familiar de la Fe y Adoración Eucarística con Cielo Abierto el sábado, 4 de noviembre de 2023 en el Payne Arena en Hidalgo, TX. Cielo Abierto será una noche de música y Adoración Eucarística.
Cielo Abierto nos acompaña en cinco Noches de Adoración (NDA) del 30 de octubre al 3 de noviembre en cinco parroquias a través de la diócesis. Cada día, la Misa se celebrará a las 6 p.m. seguida de la Adoración Eucarística.
¡Será un evento gratis para toda la familia!

- The event is open to everyone. Prior to the concert and Adoration, different ministries in the diocese will provide activities for families.
- The arena has access and seating for wheelchairs.
- There is plenty of parking onsite.

"The mode of Christ's presence under the Eucharistic species is unique. It raises the Eucharist above all the sacraments as "the perfection of the spiritual life and the end to which all the sacraments tend."199 In the most blessed sacrament of the Eucharist "the body and blood, together with the soul and divinity, of our Lord Jesus Christ and, therefore, the whole Christ is truly, really, and substantially contained." "This presence is called 'real' - by which is not intended to exclude the other types of presence as if they could not be 'real' too, but because it is presence in the fullest sense: that is to say, it is a substantial presence by which Christ, God and man, makes himself wholly and entirely present." (CCC 1374)
